PERSONALITY:
[Untrusting] The last few times she's put her faith into anything she's ended up
back in Hell so that's a big NO THANKS to the whole trusting thing.
[Manipulative] She tends to be very manipulative in getting her way no matter what
the consequences might be. She tends to have tunnel vision when it comes to
getting what she wants and doesn't care about hurting precious feelings or bones
for that matter.
[calculating] Ruby is very calculating and smart, one has to when they play the type
of high stakes games she does. She likes to be a few steps ahead of what or
whoever she might be controlling, manipulating or working for.

Ruby has no problem enacting whatever physical harm or torture that needs to be
forced upon well..anyone. She has zero issues with anger and violence and unlike
most demons she prefers to use martial arts and hand-to-hand physical violence
instead of other (boring) methods of pain and torture.

She loves a good party. She'll be the one found dancing on the table with a few
gentleman friends. She loves drinking and dancing, stealing cars and whatever
other bit of trouble she can get into. If there's a line you can bet she's going to
cross it.

HISTORY:
Ruby began life as a human who was alive during the peak of the Black Death, she
then became a witch by selling her soul to Astaroth. Ruby doesn't like to think back
to her human days though unlike some Demons she does remember it. When Ruby
died her soul went to Hell where Astaroth tortured and tormented her so much she
became a demon. It was there that she studied and trained under him so make full
use of her talents and abilities.
After Azazel's death, she conspired with Lilith as to how they would free Lucifer from
his cage: while Lilith broke the seals, Ruby protected the remaining "special child"
Sam Winchester and prepared him to break the final seal and become the host to
Lucifer. This plan was known only to herself and Lilith, causing Ruby to be regarded
as a traitor by Hell.
At first, Ruby formed an alliance with an uneasy Sam by promising to help him get
his brother out of his crossroads deal, but once this was revealed to be false,
offered to train Sam to be able to kill Lilith in revenge for Dean being sent to Hell.
During Dean's sojourn in Hell, Ruby tightened her hold by being useful and 'helping'
Sam, saying what he wanted to hear, addicting him to demon blood, and being there
through his grief to the point that the relationship between the two gradually deepened
and became sexual. She molded him into the perfect vessel for Lucifer and manipulated
him into breaking the final seal by killing Lilith, but once her deceit was realized by the
brothers, she was killed with her own knife.
Ruby's stay in Hell was every bit as torturous as her first experience had been though
now she had a host of enemies who gladly helped in any way that brought her pain
and punishment. Ruby bided her time until yet again the veil was thin enough for her
to fight and claw her way through. She made it out of hell and promptly possessed a
girl on the streets. She was obviously a user and wouldn't have made it down the path
she was traveling down much longer...not that Ruby cared.
She then made her way to Mystic Falls where the smell of meyhem and future bloodshed
called her name. There was whispers of Lucifer returning and as they say...old habits
die hard.

Despite being a demon, Ruby more often relied upon on a combination of trickery,
ambushing opponents, martial arts, and usage of the Demon-killing knife that the
Winchesters stole from her rather than on her supernatural powers. Teleportation
though she prefers to drive an orange 1970 Mach-1 Mustang instead. Invulnerability,
Ruby is immune to death from conventional means by which that entails many things
from sickness to being shot. Spell-casting: Ruby had immense knowledge of witchcraft
and the supernatural, due to being a witch taught by Astaroth in her human life.
Astaroth noted that Ruby had been "one of her best," indicating that Ruby had become
a powerful witch under her tutelage. Electrokinesis - She can manipulate most electronic
things. Super strength and speed as demonstrated by many demons. Ruby is immune to
hallowed ground, able to step inside churches or in graveyards she however she is still
susceptible to other standard defenses against demons, including devil's traps, salt, iron
and her own knife. Telekinesis: Ruby is able to manipulate and sometimes control objects
and things.
Being a low-level black-eyed demon, Ruby has all the common weaknesses of a demon from
Exorcism to Holy Water.
