Have you ever wanted to put two things together but thought to yourself " nah, that'll never work." Then you told some friends about your idea and they made it even better and you got to thinking " Wow...this could actually work." Well that's Wayward Diaries. We're super fluid, super laid back and super awesome. We took the worlds of Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries and smooshed them into something quite incredible and fun...if we do say so ourselves. This is the site plot and also how we tend to make everything just a bit more believable and working together. Check it:
There's a supernatural sh$t show going on in the town of Mystic Falls. Unbeknown to most Mystic Falls residence, the small town sits on magical ley lines that intersect right in the middle of Main St making it an atomic power keg just waiting to explode. One of the beings who came to find out this crucial bit of information is Satan himself. With a solar eclipse nearing it's an all hands on deck situation to prevent basically the end of the world unfortunately....no one really knows this. The only thing that is clear is that something big is happening.
The Men of Letters dispatched all available hunters to check out the area and while Sam and Dean weren't too keen on being sent around by the MOL once they looked into all of the dissapearances and "animal attacks" they decided to pay the town a visit. The Originals know all about the MOL and have managed to stay off of their radar unfortunately that means being on their best behavior to keep that secret a secret which might be a problem. Angels and Demons the like have been drawn into the town, some knowing why and some completely unaware. Because the Originals sired a totally new line the Supernatural hunters have no clue about them or their weaknesses. Witches are also on guard due to the fact that *someone* is hunting them down and forcing their hand to create and uphold spells that aren't so beneficial to humankind. Speaking of spells...one has been cast over the town that effectively "hides" supernatural beings from one another meaning an Angel can't sense a Demon nor other Angels, etc. To make everything more complicated: certain spells were cast that made the veil able to be pierced, yep people are returning from the dead, Hunters and Humans alike.
Basically everyone is flying blind and no one knows what's going on. Sound crazy? It totally is. Sounds like fun? Come join us.
