Look, no one should judge Damon if he so decided to spend a few hours in the company of the dead. They were far more exciting than the living things he was living with, anyway. I mean, Stefan might as well be dead, he mused to himself, smirking slightly as he strolled casually amongst the headstones, his eyes alighting on a few names he'd known from his own lifetime. Really, he should have a headstone here; he was a part of this town's history, too, after all. A slight disturbance up ahead piqued his curiosity. Someone passing through the cemetery? Someone visiting? All the possibilities. Perhaps a grieving widow, freshly minted and ready to have some proper loving? A glitter of mischief appeared in Damon's eyes as he altered his path to go towards the sound. Still, he did not pick up his pace, casually strolling as though he were at a park and taking his sweet as time. Besides, there weren't a lot of things stronger, faster, or deadlier than Damon Salvatore. He was pretty much at the top of the food chain, and anything he should be scared of, he shouldn't be finding in a cemetery. The things he should be scared of - not that he really was scared of them, anyway, Damon had a slim sense of self-preservation - were probably sipping whiskey in a 1960s-esque jazz club. Damon wasn't judging - that was his scene once upon a time, too. The sun was warm on his skin, or at least, it should have felt warm. He had vague recollections of what it used to feel like with the sun on his skin, but that was decades ago. Still, he couldn't help the slight smirk on his face at the beauty of the scene - now all he needed was a pretty girl to make it complete. That was certainly what he hoped he would find at the end of his little trek, and not some snotty little brat crying over a grave.

Ruby liked this body. She supposed she had a particular type. This girl fit the mold of the others: young, pretty, athletic and a resting bitch face that would make many a human male's blood run cold. Yes, she liked this brand of poison. It was easier to manipulate people when you looked like an angel sent to Earth. The girls she always took over were so beautiful yet so damaged. She had never figured that one out. They always screwed up their lives in some way or another. She had improved many of them if she did say so herself. She had made her way across the country to Mystic Falls. A town that seemed utterly, heartbreakingly boring. It had only one place to get alcohol and that was at a greasy grill. Not that she was complaining too much..she did have a weakness for fries after all, but that wasn't the point. She was used to Chicago, New York, places where a demon could have some fun. This was going to be Hell. Still, she had gone because that was where she was called. She was a loyal believer in the Archangel whom she would...and had...followed to her death. She believed in her heart of hearts that he was the key to unleashing all of Hell's fury upon the Earth and this time they would be successful. This time there were no Winchesters who the plan hinged on. It was only a matter of time and space and that time was rapidly approaching. She had woken up after taking way too many shots of some gut-rot booze the bartender tried passing off as the good stuff and took her time showering and changing. She didn't like to not look her best, it wasn't in her best interest after all. Men were more likely to bend to her will when she looked like perfection. She had decided to wander about town and it wasn't long until she found herself in a graveyard. Walking along, her hands absently tracing along headstones as she passed by them she thought she heard someone else on the path ahead of her. Coming to a quick stand-still she listened again, not breathing until whatever it was ahead made another noise. Ruby quietly moved along the path until she spotted him. No Angel radar went off and he wasn't carrying an arsenal of weapons, no this guy was simply tall, dark-haired and handsome, yes this morning would be quite fun. She smiled wickedly before slipping into character. She made her way onto the path, her eyes doe-eyed and as innocent as she could muster, a small upturn of the corners of her mouth before she spoke " Um..Hello there...I'm so sorry to bother you but...I think I'm lost." She put her hands into the pockets of her vest as if she was trying to fend off the brisk morning air before smiling at him. " I was looking for the hiking path and I think I got turned around."
