PERSONALITY:
Lisbeth is a steadfast friend, she never turns her back on the people she cares about and works hard to build up lasting and honest friendships. Though unless you really know her she can be really tempermental and hard to handle. Her powers are sometimes overpowering and tend to weaken her, but she is stronger than she realizes, her mother and aunt were trying to help her with it while they could, teaching her to use nature to her advantage and to work with what she has. She loves nature, which is why she prefers to study in the park or in her own backyard. She avoids being around people who push her buttons as she lashes out easily.
She uses her magic when she needs to because it still is so tiring for her, but has yet to have it really put to the test. She sits with her grimmorie in her lap reading up on and trying new spells, she is trying to develop and hone her powers so that if she ever needs them to protect herself or people she cares about she will be ready. It is very hard to get on her good side, she is very wary of others and can be seen as frankly a biatch if you don't know that that is just her attitude. SHe is not above using people who are easily swayed in order to get her way.

HISTORY:
Lisbeth was not raised in what you would call a normal atmosphere. Her family has always lived in Salem, Mass for as long as they have traced it back. She was raised by a single mother, Annie, her father Jacob having died from cancer when she was only three years old. Her mothers sister, her Aunt Lily, had moved to Mystic Falls, Virginia when she got married at the age of eighteen. She would call and write to Lisbeth's mom all the time when she first moved, but then the calls became more frequent than normal, calling two or three times a day for three years. Lisbeths mother, Annie, decided to quit her job as a nurse in Salem, and to join her sister in Mystic Falls, not telling Lisbeth why. She got a job as a nurse at the hospital there and began working overtime or so she claimed. So Lis had to transfer schools in the middle of her Junior year, right after telling her old friends about the powers she had suddenly began to develop at the age of sixteen. Her family is one of the older magic families of Salem, her mothers maiden name was Proctor, her father was descended from Sarah Wildes and her mother from John Proctor, both who were killed during the Salem Witch Trials.
Her mother had an old journal that belonged to John, it claimed that he was helping some vampires in that time, and that one of the vampires might have been the one to claim he was a warlock, hence condemning the man. Since then Lisbeth's family has never trusted a vampire, but her mother and Aunt were hiding something from Lis, which of course, made the girl suspicious. Three years after moving to Mystic Falls, Lisbeth's mother and aunt were murdered in her home. It looked like it was a supernatural attacker of some kind, but no one has been able to figure it out. Lisbeth moved back into the family estate back in Salem, as it was bought and paid for and left to her in her mothers will. She was driving to school daily to continue her education, but she still held a grudge against whomever might have killed her family. If she were to find out who did it, the one who did so would be in for a world of pain. All these years later she has still not found out who might have done the deed, but it hasn't stopped her from trying to find out. She managed to get her Veterinary Medicine degree and opened up a practice in Mystic Falls.
