PERSONALITY:
vee thrives on the fact that she's better than most other people in worldly ways. her mother used to be an actress and a model, who was more famous for her scandals and flings with various men (single, taken, or married); vee inherited her good looks and influence. due to her mother's previous career, and the fact that most of her hook-ups, dates, and relationships were with other famous people, that meant they were pretty darn well-off, too. vee was raised with a golden – not silver, golden – spoon in her mouth. society lived and breathed on the concept of getting what you wanted and not stopping until you did. this obviously affected vee's growing up, for boy did she not stop yelling and screaming until she got what she wanted. she had to have the best of everything, mostly just to show it off. she's learned from an early age that bragging openly was rather annoying, so she'd learned a few tricks from her mother about a more subtler way of showing off. this is an inherent part of vee's personality. she's been this way since she was a toddler, when she was a little girl, until she went to a private school and high school. to this day, vee is still a very proud person: she's proud that her mother's famous, that her step-father is a billionaire, that their family is rolling in money, that her little brother was awarded most important player in his american football game. she's proud that she's beautiful and she garners attention. she loves the spotlight, but she has a subtle way of making it seem that she doesn't care whether or not she has attention. she's proud that she has a flashy car, three golden credit cards, and she could get pretty much anything she wanted. really, this girl fully believes that the world wrapped around her french-manicured little finger.
that being said, vee hates it when she's outshone. she just has to have better – if she can't, then she'll just dust it off as unimportant. she gets jealous very easily, especially when good looking boys completely ignore her, or are so in love and committed with their significant others that they just don't care about her. when she gets jealous of others, she doesn't like to show it – she's got her pride, after all. but it's pretty easy to see the signs of whenever she's in a fit of envious anger: she grinds her teeth, and her eyes sharpen like they're about to shoot fire. but she'd keep a tight rein on her words and actions, sometimes pretending to admire it while seething and planning to throw a tantrum when she got home to get something better, or sometimes she just brushes it off as though it's hardly worth being jealous over. (one such thing is her complete lack of skill in singing. she realized this when she was six years old, playing dolls with her friends and she made hers sing. the girls had laughed at her singing, and vee'd brushed it off as not necessary when she had her looks, anyway. she'd then proceeded, over the years, to subtly rub it in those friends' faces that she could get a much better guy just through her looks than any guy they could get because of their singing. in fact, she made every opportunity to talk about her so-called 'guy problems' whenever boys fought over her, although she usually instigated those fights by flirting with them openly.) when other people are envious of her, she loves it. it invigorates her, energizes her, and she practically feeds off the jealousy of others. she loves it when boys are jealous over her, fighting over her; she loves it when their girlfriends or just girls in general are envious of her because boys fight for her. it's not only limited to the romance department, though. competition in general makes her feel alive, like there are fireworks exploding in her brain and sizzling in her blood. she loves sitting in the stadium for football, basketball, baseball – basically, any sport. she wasn't much a fan of the games themselves, but the pumping emotions and fever-pitch zeal to win was addicting to vee. she took every opportunity she could to be in the vicinity, or to instigate, something competitive, something that made people jealous or envious, something that made her feel alive.
because vee just has to have the best of everything, she goes through possessions like she's swimming in a fast-flowing river. as soon as the latest technology gadget is out, she just has to get it, no matter that her 'old' technology is just two months old. clothes? has different ones every day, the next time she'd probably wear the same thing would be in three months. boyfriends? he'd be lucky if he lasted a month. vee is like a giant black hole, incapable of being filled, no matter how much is stuffed in there. she also hardly ever donates her old things, and she certainly doesn't like to share. again, she's also subtle about this aspect of her personality. her room at her parents' mansion is modest and trendy, big but not filled with things. her closet is huge, of course, you could walk in it and probably fit a car in there. it's filled from ceiling to floor with shoes, clothes, handbags, gowns, but it's very typical of a child of a famous and rich person. it's not something incredibly extravagant or over-the-top. that's because that's only about 10% of her things. all the rest of the 90% is stored in the basement, and every month or so, her trusted helpers (servants, really) move all the stuff in her closet to the basement, choose the next 10%, and move that to the closet. basically, vee has a rotation system with her walk-in closet, which just really goes to show how much she hoards her stuff. the basement also has 90% of her stuffed toys, technical gadgets, and other possessions. she even once crashed a year-old car on purpose for her parents to buy her a newer model.
all her greed clearly shows how much of a glutton vee is when it comes to wealthy possessions. she could be walking around anything, and as soon as she saw something, she'd just get it, even if she already had something just as good as it already. (this is especially true in the case of boys.) when it comes to food and drink, it's much like her pride: she has to have the best. when she's at home with her family, they have a top chef cooking their meals for them, and everyday dinner is like eating out at a five-star restaurant: their plates are decorated, the food is the best and looks beautiful, the drinks are kept at the temperature they're supposed to be when they're served, they even had a server. when she's out with friends, she'd insist eating at the closest, fanciest restaurant, and due to her famous name, she'd usually get them in without a reservation. she eats however much she wants, whatever she wants, whenever she wants, for this spoilt girl has been gifted with a fast metabolism and a highly-recommended professional personal trainer. the first time vee ever ate non-top-chef/restaurant food was when she got to camp half-blood this summer. even then, she'd attempted to talk to the director about having her food delivered from a special restaurant – one of her favourites – in the city. needless to say that she had a bit of a tough time adjusting to the 'lesser' food, but she tries her best not to make a big deal out of it in front of the campers because she knows it'll give her a negative (but true) reputation. thank the gods that she's only a summer camper, though, or else she'd have to find some way to bribe the camp director to allow her food in.
while vee is very active in certain areas of her life, in other areas sheis incredibly slow takes her own sweet time, as she believes that whatever she has to do can wait for her. she's not the best in school and studies – it's not that she's stupid. her low marks stem from her complete and utter laziness to study: she has better things to do with her time than study, like flirt with boys, maintain her queen b status (especially with her friends, who are all trying very subtly, or at the very least hoping, to topple her off her pedestal), meet and mingle with society's famous people, go shopping, things like that. her teachers are sometimes bribed to tell her exactly what's going to be on the exam, or tell her the answers to questions, just so she doesn't have to work anything out and yet still get some marks in her assignments. at school, she even had a little posse of younger students (both girls and boys, usually about three years younger; young, but not too young) to carry her books for her, pick up her lunch for her from the gate of the school, where her own personal chaffeur brought her top-chef-cooked food from her house, deliver messages for her, massage her hands, etc. really, vee was the biggest diva in a school of divas, and she loved to be at the top of the pyramid.
because of her being in top spot (both at school and in their social circles, which she 'earned' through being beautiful, rich, and famous), lots of boys lined up for the chance to take her out on a date. vee, being the kind and merciful soul that she was, obliged as many of the good looking / popular / athletic ones as she could. despite her string of boys, however, vee has never found love. this is mostly because she's not looking for love, and doesn't want to find it. once a boy gets too serious or too presumptuous about them having a future together, he'd find himself kicked to the curb, which vee was hardly ever guilty about considering the rest of the males (and sometimes females) chivvying each other in the line. sometimes, fights even broke out, while vee stood a little by the side, watching and smiling gleefully. she'd lost many girl friends over romantic issues – vee tended to be rather insensitive about little things such as friendship in the face of something like wanting a particular boy. she loved to cause lust to the point of jealousy. sometimes, she'd even date boys just for the limelight, not caring who she may hurt in the process.
when this girl doesn't get what she wants, hoo boy, you'd better not be anywhere near her when she explodes. she's usually pretty good at keeping her anger in, especially when she's about to throw a tantrum, until she gets home with no one but her parents and sometimes her little brother to see the true extent of her brattiness. but in public, vee's wrath is usually a lot more subtle. she doesn't do the whole shouting or crying thing where people are around to see her, because that's kind of humiliating for her. no, vee likes to do sneak attacks. as they say, revenge is a dish best served cold. if a boy cheated on her, she wouldn't shout or rave at him in front of other people, or even when it's just the two of them (partly because she honestly doesn't care about the boy, she only cares about how she looks when she's been dumped for another girl). she'd wait for the perfect opportunity to strike back, usually by humiliating both the boy and the girl he'd cheated with using confidential information or humiliating pranks, and always with a big crowd (vee loves timing pranks with the media watching). she has a outwardly-silent, inwardly-roaring wrath, and she's the kind of person to never stop until she'd gotten her vengeance.

HISTORY:
MOTHER : Paris Rhiannon Bellamy (nee Guillory)
FATHER : William George Brian Bellamy, II
SIBLINGS : Sydney March Bellamy (half-brother, 11), Barcelona Venus Bellamy (half-sister, 9)
paris guillory was a successful model and actress in her late twenties, already with a long string of lovers and still with a following. she was the source of so much rivalry and envy in her social circles that zelos, the god of rivalry and envy himself, came to pay her a visit. he never told her who he truly was, and he and paris spent only one night together. not that paris minded – she was used to it. still, it didn't really fit into her plans to have her baby, but have it she did, and riviera elizabeth guillory was born amidst media furor over who the baby daddy could be. vee interrupted her mother's soaring career, however, and so paris decided to leave her with nannies to be looked after, telling them to give vee whatever she wanted. and so vee was raised, getting everything she ever wanted at the slightest sign of tears and usually even before that, while her mother jetted around the country, walking catwalks and covering magazines and starring in movies. at the same time, various hookups and breakups still featured her, sometimes with the anger and jealousy of ex-girlfriends of whoever she managed to date in between her busy schedule. she sometimes came home to her daughter, maybe once or twice in six months. she wasn't much attached to vee, although she gave her everything she ever wanted and more. when vee was a toddler, she loved it whenever her mother visited – she very much missed her mum, but she knew that mum had to be away to work. besides, her nannies gave her everything, so it was all okay. sometimes she even got to see her mum on screen (sometimes the computer when paris would call to give instructions to the nannies or other housekeeping members, sometimes on the telly when paris was shown in a movie). life was fine for the little girl and her mother, and she grew up never wanting or needing a father.
by the time vee was in school, paris had come back home less than twenty times, and vee's vision of her mother changed. no longer did she care about any love (what love?) paris provided whenever she got home. all vee cared about were the presents: toys, gadgets, tickets to shows and movies, and lots and lots of shopping. and so her mum became a source of presents and shopping and sometimes, if paris was feeling particularly merciful, she'd tell vee stories about shooting on set and doing catwalks. when she was around ten years old, her mum started bringing her places during school holidays and sometimes not even then, just straight up taking her out of school and hiring a tutor for vee to fly with them (not that the tutor did much work, to be honest, vee was more interested in hanging out than studying). vee had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the kids of movie stars, broadway actors and actresses, singers, producers – all kinds of famous people. it was in this playground that she began to hone her subtle ways of bragging, getting what she wanted, and of course, causing havoc and mayhem by subconsciously upping the rivalry and envy in the room. usually, when she was younger, the environment would only stay within that room – as soon as people walked out of the room, they were able to breathe better and their minds cleared and they figure they'd just had a brief lapse in judgement. the older she got, the stronger her power was, and the longer her effect had on people stayed. at first, she could only manipulate those who were younger or the same age as her, but the more she used her abilities, the more people she could manipulate, regardless of her age. however, her power was (and still is) weak against those who have a stronger will and/or commitment.
paris remarried when vee was six, and her husband bill bellamy didn't want to leave his mansion in another part of the country. at the same time, vee grew up in her old house and didn't want to leave, either, so the family was split apart. by that age, vee's interest in her mother was lessening, so she didn't particularly feel abandoned when paris made bill's house her headquarters. the first time vee met bill was when paris was in the hospital, about to give birth to vee's half-brother sydney. vee had then stayed for a month (it was school holidays), before going back just in time for school. sometimes, bill would come to visit paris' house with sydney, but it was also only a visit for them. the next time vee went to bill's mansion was for the birth of her half-sister barcelona, when vee was nine. again, she went back to her old house and back to her old school, and everything was fine.
